The Four Pillars
The pillars of an authentic Catholic life are summarized in the traditional four pillars of Catholic catechisms: faith, liturgy/sacraments, life in Christ, and prayer, which Peter distills in Acts 2:42. In the Foundation, we support Catholic life with our four pillars of Parish Life, Catholic Education, Social Service and Vocations.
Parish Life
As the foundation that represents all Catholics within the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, The Catholic Community Foundation seeks to perpetuate and build upon the relationships within our parishes to better serve our collective mission as a faith focused family of believers at all parishes within the diocese.
Catholic Education
As a Catholic community, we seek to be wholly supportive of our Catholic educational efforts, supporting initiatives that make Catholic education a hallmark of the diocese; with a culture of teaching and learning directed toward spiritual, personal, and professional success.
Community
As a central and essential element of our faith, the Foundation seeks to practice our Catholic social beliefs by being impactful for those most in need.
Vocations
Financially supporting the education of our seminarians and creating a broader awareness of the religious life within our diocese.
