Mission, Vision, and Values
The Catholic Foundation is a trusted partner of the parishes, schools, ministries, and non-profits in the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. We also work closely with individual Catholics who wish to make a real difference in our Catholic community and leave a legacy to support the causes they care most about. Although our services are professional in nature, we truly see our work as a ministry, and our service is inspired by our mission and vision.
Our Mission
In Christ, the Catholic Community Foundation of Northeast Indiana is dedicated to supporting the spiritual, educational and charitable ministries of the Catholic Church and the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, by inspiring charitable giving and estate planning.
Our Vision
Ensuring that the Catholic community and its ministries have the financial resources to serve and make a difference in the lives of current and future generations.
Our Values
Our values are rooted in the themes of Catholic teachings. In our quest to be the most trusted Catholic foundation, we also strive for transparency and professionalism in all that we do.
Our Patron Saint
St. Katharine Drexel, also known as Mother Katharine, is the second American-born saint to be canonized by the Catholic Church. Mother Katharine was born into a financially well endowed family and dedicated her life as a missionary. She helped open the first mission boarding school in Santa Fe, New Mexico called St. Catherine's Indian School. Before her death, she established 50 missions in 16 different states. Mother Katharine also had over 500 Sisters teaching in 63 schools thought the country. St. Katharine Drexel, pray for us!
