A Mother’s Hope is beyond grateful for the support of the Catholic Community Foundation of Northeast Indiana. Through the Mary Hopkins Fitzpatrick Unwed Mother Assistance Fund, the Catholic Community Foundation has provided funding to support pregnant women experiencing homelessness in our community. Since 2018, A Mother’s Hope has served 58 women and 58 babies in our housing program.
We are in a crucial time in history with the recent changes in our country surrounding abortion. The Catholic community has always cared for the most vulnerable. The Catholic Community Foundation understands the incredible need to impact the lives of the poor, the vulnerable, and those most in need. This is one of the many reasons why they choose to support the women and babies at A Mother’s Hope.
A Mother’s Hope is in a unique position to care for women and babies during one of the most challenging times in their lives. Alone, pregnant, homeless, and yet choosing life for her baby, a woman who comes to A Mother’s Hope must know that her life matters too. She will encounter Christ’s love that is ever present here at A Mother’s Hope. For when she knows her true worth, she can build a new future for her family filled with hope, love, and stability. Through the support of the Catholic Community Foundation, A Mother’s Hope provides women with the tools and opportunities to build new futures for women, children, and generations to come.
